Hehu New Residence is located in Longgang District, Shenzhen. It is one of the top ten Hakka walled villages in Shenzhen. Longgang is a major habitation of Hakka in Shenzhen and Hehu New Residence is a typical representative of Hakka house. Hehu New Residence was built in Emperor Qianlong period. It originally occupied an area of about 25,000 square meters, the largest Hakka encircled house all over the country. Hehu New Residence has been developed as Hakka folk custom museum and is ranked as the culture relic protection site of Guangdong Province.

Dapeng Ancient City is located in Dapeng town, Dapeng new district, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, it covers an area of 110,000 square meters. Dapeng Ancient City was first built in the year 1394 in Ming Dynasty. It is one of the most important historical relics in Guangdong and the top one in the “8 Views in Shenzhen”. It was announced as “Famous Chinese History and Culture Village” by the Chinese authorities. Shenzhen is well-known as “City of Peng”, a name originated from Da-peng ancient city, where Da-Peng is a legendary big bird.

Jiaochangwei village is closed to Dapeng Ancient City. Its total area is about 330 thousand square meters. It has been about 300 years since the founding of the village. It is the only village along coastline in Shenzhen. Its coastline is about 3,000 meter-long. There are about 377 home-run inns in this village. Different special sea food can be found along the streets in the village.
